Chiropractic started in Canada!
Chiropractic was started over 100 years ago in 1895, by Daniel David Plamer when he adjusted his colleague. He untrapped a nerve in his neck, curing his deafness! During this time x-rays were invented, meaning Chiropractors could give patient's specific adjustments, depending of x-ray findings. Over the last 100 years Chiropractic has become extremely medical and highly beneficial for neck pain, headaches, low back pain and much more. Chiropractors spend four years training, including studying radiology, neurology, orthopaedics and general diagnosis.
Chiropractic is hugely popular in Chiropractic's home country of Canada and over the last 100 years rapidly spread to America, New Zealand and Australia. It is currently one of the fastest growing health professions. DD Palmer, the founder of Chiropractic, even had an airport built for patient's to visit him, such was the demand. Many of Dr Emma Biddell's (Doctor of Chiropractic) are from these areas.
